Here is a shot above a uranium mine in the park's expansion. It appears there was an underground tunnel and the remains of 18" rail track are found across the site.

We are getting close to the summer field season...

Fall above Durango

I got to give an archaeology talk in Durango last fall. I forgot to clean the pictures off the camera. The leaves changing in the mountains with the rain and fog, and later snow was pretty spectacular.
