Stuck in the office today watching the snow storms roll up from the Mogollon Rim. It snowed last night and has been bitterly cold. They closed the park for most of the morning. Here is a shot from just outside the office of the next storm sweeping up.
Why does it look like you are in darkness, but the rim is in light?
ReplyDeleteAnd are those stables?
The storms kept coming up from the Rim in waves. I happened to be standing outside just before the snow hit from the south which is what made it so dark. I was taking the picture to the southwest and the bright area was just past the wave I was in. It ended up snowing pretty hard before I even got the camera packed back up. And yes those are the horse stables behind the complex for the patrol horses.
ReplyDeleteHow do the horses stay warm?
ReplyDeleteThey have a nice barn with electricity and running water.
